I am just posting the numbers , And most people are to afraid to touch such a subject, because an opinion could get you called a racist. (favorite liberal pastime) I don't have a lot of knowledge about the black family of the 40s and 50s, Segregation was not a good thing, but I think the family was much stronger then and there was more of a black middle class. I don't know what changed in our society to cause the inner city black culture to have the problems they do. It seems as societal racism decreased, inner city black culture developed more problems. That is the reality of many black youths. They grow up in a culture where they see friends get shot and see friends shoot people. If no one can talk about a culture that nurtures this mindset it won't change. But, I'll probably be called racist for pointing out the truth, and nobody will touch the subject.
