We were out today too. Water is a tad warmer here, probably close to
80 in the river.
Mr Ed took a long run in the scrub and we picked him up at the other
end in the boat.
Then we poked around in the mangroves for an hour or two.
It was pretty "boaty" out on the intercoastal but we are slow no wake
(manatee) back in the boonies so we don't see many other boats..

Thursday we went kayaking Ventura Harbor. Was planning on more kayaking
during the week, but spent extra time at middle granddaughter bonding. Had
a party to attend in Oxnard, Sat. So only got out the one day. Was big
swell outside the harbor, so stayed inside. Wind came up later, and gale
insured until Sunday morning. Was a nice paddle. Drug a swim bait, to see
if I could get a sand bass, or halibut. No love there.
