My runabout mechanic says that he can get remaunfactured Chevy blocks for about $3k with about that much additional in labor for the swap out. That's a lot cheaper than a new outboard of that size. Mine would probably be a tad more since I've got the 6.2L EFI rated at 325 hp (basically a Corvette engine). |
