He just finished building a quadcopter equipped with a Hero type camera. Here's a short video he posted of him flying it and recording while his wife (the horse nut) was riding. He has been trying to get me interested in this stuff without success so far. Too damn cold outside. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QmmCKEIkPE&feature=youtu.be === Very cool, looks like the horse has some fancy moves, and it looks like your snow is mostly melted. You can see the shadow of the quadcopter at 1:30 into the video, lower right hand corner of the screen. I was waiting for the horse to get spooked. They are afraid of their own shadow. He did another video where they sorta reacted to the giant mosquito in the sky. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gf9zNLQEojk&feature=youtu.be Those horses are obviously used to the damn thing. If there's any interest in the type quadcopter, etc, there is a lot more information at that last youtube link. |
