I remember reading a couple of years ago that some Apple computers at Apple itself were hacked by outsiders. Speaking of the Macs: I've been slowly customizing how my iMac runs and displays to my liking. The Mavericks manual you provided has been very helpful. This evening my daughter was at the house and we were looking up something on the 'net using Mrs.E's iMac. I haven't paid much attention to her iMAC since she got it, concentrating more on mine. What a difference! Her's was driving me crazy until I realized it's still completely stock, like from the factory. I need to spend some time on hers now, updating, installing a few things and customizing how certain things work .... even as simple as the mouse. We are both so used to right clicking for a lot of functions and, as set up, there isn't a "right click" on hers right now. (I changed mine.) Simple little things but they help, especially when you are very accustom to Windows. |
