Default Canadian men doing well so far for curling gold

At the finish of the 5th end Canada leads Great Britain 6-2.
Could history be made today..the first time one country captures gold in both men's and women's in the same games.
Now that's exciting!

Curling is like shuffleboard, isn't it? Not exactly a spectator sport.

Seriously, what do the brooms do besides make the team bigger?
