Default Canadian women win gold in curling

Whoever claimed that curling was boring should have watched the women's gold medal game between Canada and Sweden.
Just over and was tight until Sweden made one mistake in the 9th end, allowing Canada to earn a commanding lead.

I have a feeling the ice hockey game at noon will be a tad more exciting.

But, congratulations to the Canadians for the gold in women's curling! I'm wondering when they'll
have 'Senior Women's Shuffleboard' as an Olympic event.

Well Johnny, I suppose curling lacks the slam bang, shoot 'em up type of activities y'all are so fond off.
There's a lot of strategy and thinking involved, along with the skill level found in Olympic class athletes.

I've got to admit, I find women's hockey a little more interesting. But I can understand that it
might be too slam, bang, shoot'em up for you.

They probably also like ribbon dancing in the summer Olympics. And True
North as a janitor has to admire the broom work in Curling.
