I have a lifetime supply. There's about a half a can left of my 5mm

Sheridan air rifle pellets. It held 500 rounds when I got it about 50

years ago.

My Crossman ammo dried up. Good target and varmint pistol.

Mice.

Crosman makes great stuff anymore. their .177 "Cock and pull" pellet
rifles hit just as hard as a .22.

I had a Ruger .177 pellet rifle but recently gave it to my son-in-law.
It shoots lead pellets at a muzzle velocity of 1200 fps and the "high
velocity" type pellets at 1400 fps. When fired, it is louder than my
.22LR rifle (also a Ruger).

Gamo is making silenced pellet guns these days. Since it is not a
"firearm" they can put a .22 style suppressor on it without running
afoul of NFA34

I am not sure why the pellet gun is louder than the .22LR rifle. Both
have supersonic velocities as the round leaves the barrel. The pellet
gun might have a slightly higher velocity depending on what type of ammo
is used in the .22 rifle (standard or high velocity). It can't be mass
because the .22 is bigger. Beats me.

Of course the velocity at 25 yards or more is going to be much different
between the two.

It depends on the .22 ammo. I have some 65 gr .22rf that is pretty
quiet out of a rifle. Better than my Sheridan .177 pumped up to oh
wow.

Hell, I still have some 22 or I probably paid $1.25 a 50 rd box.

You sure seem to have a number of absurdities running around your brain.

I don't have that much ammo, and most of it was purchased long before
the gun nutsies made a run for it all. In fact, I sold off about half a
thousand rounds of 9mm ammo. Recently, I've purchased a few boxes of .45
ACP and LC, and two boxes of .22LR, mostly mail order from Natchez,
along with other small quantities of ammo bundled in for a couple of
buddies so we could split the freight cost.

Oh, I got my Maryland permit with the help of my lawyer, who viewed
certain documents and suggested a CCW might be appropriate. I got one of
the others for personal protection for the then frequent drives we were
making down I-95 to Florida, although there was no "coverage" in South
Carolina, which I've always considered the most dangerous stretch of

I think he was talking about S.Carolina. Maybe strange and dangerous things happen on the once you cross Checkpoint Charlie...

Well, I've been to South Carolina several times in the last few years. Haven't noticed anyone out
for blood. But then, I don't look at the interstate in abject fear.

Oh? Then why are you and your wife getting carry permits?

To walk your doggie?

When I got my first permit, South Carolina was still flying the
confederate traitor's flag.

Do you think I need one to travel the highways and byways of this country, FOAD?

Did that flag cause you some unimaginable fear? You didn't have one of those MD KKK tags on your
car, did you?

Harry takes all those South Of The Border signs seriously. He imagines

I am trying to figure that out. Harry's sale of his coveted CZ occured soon after the passing
of Maryland SB281. Quite a number of infractions had their penalty changed from 2 years to 3
years which means anyone who had a PBJ for a two year crime may have been pushed into the 3
year crime and therefore could not legally posses firearms in Maryland. Since Harry has
negelected to provide us a picture of his allegedly owned .45 ACP and 45 LC one can only
presume that they are non-existent and exist in the same mytical plane as his Zimmerman like
Lobsta' boat.
