Let me know when he does a figure 8 no hands.

Haven't tried it, can it be done like the circles and going down a windy
road with no hands? And to Dick, never really thought out a chopper, but
I do know I don't see it yet..

That's obvious.

When Igor Sikorsky developed the first helicopter they couldn't fly it.

"The design team was not familiar with the fact that a spinning rotor
had gyroscopic properties (precession) which required an input 90
degrees in rotation before it became effective. The VS-300 therefore
rolled left when the cyclic stick was pushed forward. The initial
pilots, Igor Sikorsky and Serge Gluhareff, had no idea whether the
control problems were caused by the helicopter design or pilot technique."

In a helicopter this means that control input to the rotor's pitch is
applied 90 degrees before the direction you want to go forward in flight.

Before you jump .. you don't develop sufficient force due to gyroscopic
precession on a motorcycle going 5-10 mph regardless of whether you are
riding in circles, straight or doing figure eights. It only comes into
play when force due to the mass of the wheel (rotor) times it's velocity
squared is greater than any other external forces ... like a rider
leaning over to one side.

Very interesting. Thanks.
