Christie has dug his own trench, and it seems to be getting wider and
deeper. That has bad implications for the GOP, because about all it has
left for the 2016 nomination are the crazies.

Christie is simply a modern version of the old-time political boss. He's

I understand it was, for Atlanta, a hell of a storm and there were a few
deaths and a lot of suffering and terrific traffic problems, but, other
than that, I don't see why there's been such a fuss. This year's storms
in the northeast have had much more serious consequences for a lot more
people.

Southern cities shouldn't be expected to have made the capital
investment in snow removal gear and scheduling and everything else that
northern cities have to make. I saw the governor of Georgia interviewed
at length on TV yesterday, and he seemed as rational and reasonable as
anyone about the weather and the problems it created.

Atlanta Mayor lashing out? I have to laugh. Funny how the libbers spin
and spin and spin.

What I got is this happened two years ago in 2011 and the city was not
even cleared for three days. This mayor "learned" from that and this
time he had 30 sanders, and 40 plows ready and working all night long,
his roads were clear for passing the next day... I say, it sounds to me
like he handled things fine, now they need to look at the Repub Gov that
is in charge of the interstates....

snerk Like I said, when it took pressure and a week to get rid of
sperm boy bashir... it told me everything I need to know about them. I
wouldn't hang with people like that in the real world cause I would
probably kill them, so I am not gonna' bother with them anymore on tv

Like I said, if you listen to the interview on MSNBC, the interviewer
asks "what did you learn in 2011".. She asked it after the Mayor had
already noted that in 2011 they had a storm and because they didn't have
plows or sanders, the cleanup didn't even start for 48 hours. This time,
they had 30 sanders, and 40 plows, and the roads for the most part were
cleared and all kids were home in the city of Atlanta, by morning...
Seems like he learned something in 2011...
