The law here allows you to convert a "porta potty" to a permanent installation by securing it to the bottom of the boat and installing two hoses - one for pump out going to a deck fitting, and the other for a vent. The one on our SeaRay is secured to the bottom of the boat by a couple of heavy duty Velcro strips (hidden from view). At least on the Snake River, Idaho. Porta-potty is all that is required. Same at Catalina Island. At least a little common sense by government. I am looking to tow the boat to British Columbia this year. Been a couple of years sines we did that. The planning is fun. Port McNeill is high on the list, but also thinking Sunshine Coast on the mainland. 3 years ago, did Telegraph Cove and Campbell River and Albernie. Is illegal to pee in a bucket and pour over the side, but legal to pee over the side directly. Little common sense in the laws a lot of times. Something like 75% of fisherman boaters that drown are found with their fly open. ****ing off the transom or side. |

Looks like a half decent launch ramp at Marion Bridge. Here's a tune by Anne Murray and the Celtic Women about the charms of the area. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3nSDAocKKU === There is no better way to spend a long, cold winter than planning a boat trip. You cant plan a " Boat trip " in a Bass boat. That's all he's got...a 16 foot Bass Boat. |
