Not trying to beat a dead horse but I was just checking some of the
tech data on the Cree LED bulbs.

The 40 watt (equiv.) retails for under $10 but is available only in
one color temp (2700).

The 60 watt (equiv.) retails for $12.99 but you can get them in two
color temperatures, Bright white (2700) and Daylight (5000).

I haven't tried the ones with the daylight color temp. I think next
time I visit the home depot I'll pick one up for comparison.

I know you need 100 watts or more to see, but eventually you will have
no choice but to switch. Maybe the ones with the 5000 color temp
would work for you.

100W rough service bulbs are still available.

As a CREE stockholder who bought at 34 I would not recommend these
incandescent bulbs!
