Provenance indicates they were worn 2000 years ago by a fellow fishing next to the Sea of Galilee, but that provenance may be a hoax. Thinking of selling them on eBay for about $100,000. They're broken in, they've been in several oceans, they're holy, and they have an original, never-duplicated aroma. Why start the ****, Harry? -- Hope you're day is spectacular! What ****? These are my shoes. I wore them when I went fishing. I have retired from fishing. Ergo, they are the Shoes of the Fisherman, Retired. Not only have I worn these shoes while fishing in the Atlantic, Pacific and Carib, I also wore them while on a trip to northern Israel about six years ago and, guess what, I likely had them on my feet while we were at the Sea of Galilee. On the other hand, I didn't fish there. Earlier today, I noticed that your boy Wayne made a nasty reference to a poster here, the first I saw upon my return to U.S.A., and, of course, rec.boats. I must have missed you asking him to "not start the ****." I haven't made one negative comment so far this year about any other poster here. I haven't looked through the posts I missed while I was away, but I wonder, can you make the same claim? 2000 years ago? Not just the shoes stink. I'm sorry for you. http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...r+old+man&sm=1 Oh bull****. Mel Brooks movie and your reference of a 2000 year old fisherman have zero in reference relationships regards your post! Bill, the clip I posted of Mel and Carl's gag routine in the 2000-year-old man wasn't from a movie. To whom do you think I was referring? |

But I think it was Mel who did a movie on a 2000 yo man |
