Crazy weather lately.
About 18F here right now and we've just dug out from that blizzard you were generous enough to send up here.
They claim the temp will climb up to about the low 40's F in a day or so... and then will plunge back down.
Starting to regret not putting winter tires on my 9 month old Highlander.
Funny.. this year the city decided to take over responsibility for plowing our sidewalks this year wile assessing us a $17.00 per $100K property value.
Trouble is they give themselves a 36 hour window to do residential areas so everyone gets out and shovels like the past.
I tried letting it go for the day but my neighbours on each side end up doing my sidewalk.
Doh! I end up feeling guilty so I have to go out and shovel anyway.

We have a similar situation here with the leaves. We pay $154/year for leaf pickup. This gets us
three pickups. (We rake the leaves to the street and a truck comes by and sucks them up.) Problem
is, the first pickup is in late November, a month or more after the leaves have started falling. So
most everyone has been bagging leaves for a month before the first truck arrives. The last pickup is
Jan 20th, this year. Guess what - there ain't no leaves around then. Damn rip off. But, we have no
choice in the matter.

Hope you're day is spectacular!

"wile", Don?

At least the assessment will only cost you about $6.00.

Don, it's supposed to start here tonight and bring 14"-16" of snow in . then Sunday or Monday we're going to get a low temp about -15 with wind chills of about 40 below and maybe a high of about -1

Been colder here. Warming up a little. 45 today, low of 38 tonight. My
lemon tree has frostbite leaves. Squirrels have taken over the bird feeder
and the owl nesting box.
