These "accidental shootings" ought to result in jail sentences for the
shooters, who in many cases are just too irresponsible and trigger
happy. If you shoot someone you don't know who is busting into your
house, you are correct in assuming he or she is up to no good. If you
shoot someone who turns out to be your kid, you shouldn't be playing
with guns.
