I've known a few rednecks in my day. None of the ones I knew were as
racist and homophobic as that inbred asshole on the Duck show seems to be.

I doubt you know any real rednecks then.

BTW Robertson is just playing a redneck on TV. He has a MA in
education.

Yeah, he has a bachelor's degree in phys ed, the typical degree of a
college jock of his day, and a night school master's in education. So
obviously he is a great intellect.

Working your way to a master's degree (while teaching school) doesn't
count?
Good to know.

So, what you are saying is that Robertson is only playing at being a
racist, homophobic, inbred asshole. Right.

He is who they hired him to be.
The series is having a marathon this weekend and I bet they will have
new episodes on the air in time for the next sweeps week if the
viewership is strong this week.

I do find it amusing how you selectively decide which religious
beliefs you will abide.
A guy says "Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters,
the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the
drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers ? they won't inherit the
kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right." and that is
horrible but a bunch of European Jews say the bible gives them the
right to invade and subjugate the native population and that is fine
with you.

Look at the bright side. He said Rick Scott (swindler) and Steve Jobs
(greedy) will go to hell too.

Maybe Harry prefers the look of an anus over the look of a vaginia.

"Redman" in connection with Native Americans is a derogatory term.

So, I suppose when Al Sharpton bellows, "I don't care if you're White,
Red, Black, Blue or Purple", he's being derogatory to Whites, Native
Americans, Blacks, Smurfs and Barney, huh?

The pseudo-intellectual liberals in this country have become so obsessed
with being "politically correct" that they expect everyone to tip-toe
around with words in fear of offending someone. It seems like the
"taboo" words and phrases change monthly.

What's in favor this month, "Black", "Afro-American",
"African-American" or "person of color"? I never seem to get it right.
None make too much sense except maybe "person of color" because there
are plenty of darker skinned people who's direct ancestry does not
originate in Africa. But "person of color seems a bit awkward.

People need to relax, get real and chill out. Just identify people as
being cool, a jerk or an idiot. Works much better.

The number of degrees anyone has means diddly squat in the real world
unless one lives within a narrow world of academia where your social
status is tied to your degrees. Most successful people have nothing
more than a BA (if that).

The number of degrees doesn't make the person. What the person *does*
with whatever education and resources they have is what is important.

failed as boatbuilder, failed as stable sweeper.

Wow, 10 college degrees....and look at the result. How important is that?

The number of degrees anyone has means diddly squat in the real world
unless one lives within a narrow world of academia where your social
status is tied to your degrees. Most successful people have nothing
more than a BA (if that).

The number of degrees doesn't make the person. What the person *does*
with whatever education and resources they have is what is important.

Thank you. I don't have as many as Harry's wife, so I was feeling like a real loser.

Now I feel much better.

How many does it take to be a 'pseudo-intellectual'?
