I'm trying to find info about a New Zealand boat designer / builder(?) John
(?) Griffin.

Specifically there is a yacht for sail in Sydneyt that is purported to be a
Griffin 31 built in New Zealand about 1978 & sailed across the Tasman.

Any info greatly appreciated.

Think you will find he is an Aussie designer who lives/lived in the northern
suburbs of Sydney ( Turramurra from memory). The yacht may have been
designed here but built in NZ. That's not unusual.
