If you have the 10HP exemption a 9,9 would be overkill on that boat My bet is he has a big trolling motor in it but you need numbers here for a trolling motor on a canoe. (any motorized vessel) What cop is going to look like an idiot to the public by issuing a ticket. Maybe since it is non passenger vehicle it is exempt. |

If I were stopped I'd tell the cop it was pedal powered, and have a small set somewhere down under just in case he wanted to crawl in and take a look. It wouldn't take much of an electric motor to get it moving. |
