This past weekend- up in the NW corner of Wisconsin. It was about an 11 hr. drive from my house. and stayed with some friends just outside of Siren. (yes, that is a town) and did some fishing on a private lake. We caught some decent walleye, and I got a couple Northern Pike. This is the first time I've been fishing with spoon lures. The pike can give you a good fight but we eventually won.
It was a blast being out in a canoe on that calm clear water at 6am. Got home way tired. Will I do it again? probably not, but then again... |

Hope you've got room for a passenger next time you go. Or, better yet, maybe that would make a nice motorcycle ride. Sounds like you had a great time. That was probably more fun than reading 937 posts between Harry, Don, Kevin, and Scotty telling each other what a pile of **** they are! -- John H. Hope you're having a great day! |

Ha, I know you guys love it... that's why half of you are here. Anyway, speaking of Mororcycle Rides, JL Pinkx went third in the qualifier, and second in the main for a second place overall of 12 riders in the Open Womens class, her first time ever racing in this division. It was a great day for RMR at the Susan G Komen race for the Cure.... In the men's open Jess was the only girl to qualify and took sixth in the first moto, and 9th in the second... It was a great day for our team, we were asked to race with 526 racing next season, we will be the first girl on their team in history.... Have a good day, it's great to be back!!! |

Sounds like you're on a roll. Hope her back holds up. Thanks John... me too. According to the doc, it's 100%, no remaining issues. In fact the scoliosis she was born with has worked itself out too and she is about a quarter inch taller now ![]() get her to put on ten pounds ![]() We went back to the NESC which is our top area division today but it poured all day and with such a slick track, I made the call to pull the ride. Nothing to prove today, we are not in the points chase, and I didn't see us gaining anything we couldn't gain in the gym on a day like today.... "don't break the gear, don't break the rider" is my rule 1 anyway. Got another great venue up in Maine next weekend, it's one of Jessi's favorites, and one of the fastest tracks on the circuit... Still hoping to make it to the National event down in Florida at the end of November if she is sound... |
