I am guessing bobcat but you never can tell. We had a "panther" (same
cat) living right up the street from me for 4 or 5 years and the state
kept denying it until a cop hit it with his car.
The guy who owned the scrub at the time said he saw it several times
while he was tending his bees. I had a picture of a track

We had a cute groundhog in our front yard yesterday afternoon, chomping
away on what is left of my wife's annuals.

I have some kind of burrowing mammals in my yard too. I still haven't
seen one but the yard is spongy from all the burrows.
They don't bother me and I don't bother them.
I don't even care about the gopher tortoises and they dig huge holes.
I can usually cajole them into moving to a spot that is out of the
way.

Sounds like free aerating to me!!

No doubt that I-75 is a big part of it but there is also a great deal
of flooding between 75 and 41 as you head up into Charlotte County.
