You didn't answer ALL of Bill's questions. He wants to know if it's SAFE
to drag an extra 2000+ pounds behind that Camry based SUV without the
benefits of aux. braking. Does Toyota even broach the subject? You seem
to be happy fulfilling the bare minimum requirements of the law. Your
laws seem to indicate it's legal to tow your rig with a smart car, but I
think even you would say it's not be wise to do so.
