How many rebuilds during the making of the advert? My dad ran a wrecking
yard in Nebraska in the 1930's. I commented one time about a model T
seemed to keep running. He said, they never went more than 25,000 miles in
a lifetime. You always kept a strip of leather in the toolbox to replace a
poured Babbitt bearing when it went out any old time. If you did not have
the leather, you could use a piece of your belt or the tongue for a shoe.
They turned over all the time. Heavy metal, the did not bend, but the
passengers did. They were better than horses, but not by much.

Bull****. You wouldn't even drive that thing through a mud puddle, lest you get it a wee bit dirty.

So, Ditzy Dan is another of those candy assed SUV drivers who just want to look the part... not actually soil their tires.

Why the bad behavior and name-calling?

When was the last time you took your Highlander for a little off-roading? Paved boat ramps don't
count.

Don't you read the literature on your vehicles, Johnny.
The Highlander isn't really meant for serious offroading.
