I'm not sure why Herring is getting into this in his usual snarky way,
since the boat he recently sold was only slightly larger than Don's, and
unless his third-rate dealer screwed him on that, too, that boat of his
had a trim gauge.

The whole point of the original post by Don and follow up discussion
was that his boat did *not* have a trim gauge and he was considering
paying a dealer or someone to install one. He had an empty slot on
his panel and some people suggested a temperature gauge or something
more meaningful than a trim gauge might be more worthwhile.

Exactly, I appreciated the suggestions but now I get harassed because I didn't follow them.
Besides, if I feel the need for a temp gauge or oil pressure whatever, I still have a spot available on my console for another 2" instrument.
