LOL! Well I lost one of my non white friends last week. Former fishing partner. 80 and diabetic. Lost one leg about 10 years ago, and other leg was failing. 80 years old. |

One of my first sergeants was black. Absolutely spectacular guy. He and his wife visited us here for a long weekend a while back. His wife, according to him, had been nervous about staying with 'white folks'. She got over it when I asked her to show me how to fix collards. He died a few years ago, but we still call Gloria and keep her in the loop. I miss him. John (Gun Nut) H. -- Hope you're having a great day! |
