For you, politics trumps compassion. Odd, I've never seen anyone (business) in a 'busy' tourist trap that was hurting for lack of tourist dollars... I see no reason to support backwards, racist, anti-government. anti-woman, anti voters' rights states like South Carolina or Texas with tourism business. So you hate Nikki Haley, the minority woman Governor of SC? Ah, got it. Actually, you don't but it doesn't matter. |

So tell us why you hate the underclass workers so much on the I-95 corridor through SC so much that you won't spend your money there. The liberal voting base. After all, you'd be supporting Jim Clyburn. |

Humm... I don't seem to remember Maryland ever electing a female governor or a person of any ethnic minority for that office. They were all white guys and more than a few were corrupt. He's chosen a "team" and it doesn't matter how corrupt they are. |

After all, you'd be supporting Jim Clyburn. You can always depend on some of the right-wingers here to try to personalize their obvious hatred for those whose political opinions differ from theirs, eh? In my comments about South Carolina, I directed nothing towards you personally or, in fact, any other poster here. And always with the accusations of "hate." "their obvious hatred" Pot-kettle. You pointed out what you personally did. I pointed out the obvious hypocrisy of your actions. Please point out in this exchange where I have singled you out beyond pointing out the fallacy in your Nikki Haley claim. Oh, and being "female" puts Ms. Haley in the majority in this country. Perhaps you are referring to her ethnic background...her ancestry from India? Or her Sikh religion? What is your reference? When I see photos or video clips of her, I see a physically attractive woman who looks as if she has a decent tan. I certainly cannot determine what "race" she might be, nor do I care. I don't like Governor Haley's right-wing politics, but I certainly don't "hate" her or even "dislike" her. |

You don't have to be a woman politician to not be anti-woman, or a black politician to not be anti-black. Further, I don't expect all the players in our political system to be pure as the driven snow in corruption. Maryland is not particularly backwards, racist, anti-government, anti-woman, or anti voters' rights. The fact that the sky is not blue does not mean that it's not going to rain.
