In the past several years you have never been exactly bashful about rendering opinions on the I.Q scores, employment background or general experience of those who don't share your way of seeing things. So, one thing leads to another. "What came first, the chicken or the egg?" type contest. That will never be resolved. But, if you have him in your Bozo bin I think you may be missing some humor .... which is what was reminiscent of Skipper. Some of the exchanges you had with him were hilarious. Skipper and I were quite friendly "off channel" in emails and often would cook up disputes here just for grins. I was sorry when he died after his illness. He was the only real right-winger here who could write. I never saw anything even slightly humorous about FlaJim. He's just a resentful right-winger. I have a right-wing friend on FB who teases me outrageously, and I give it right back to him, but it's all in good fun. Not so with some of the right-wing bozos here. |

He's obviously mentally disturbed and responds to any attention afforded him. I don't like putting anyone in the Bozo bin. The world is full of differences of opinion and there's nothing wrong with having vigorous debates. But when they reduce to endless rounds of escalating name calling and the " I know you are, but what am I?" mentality, it gets old real fast. Everyone has the right to plonk whomever they want and I respect that. I was just surprised when I was plonked... I could have recommended at least a couple other posters who I feel are more deserving than me. The rest of us stopped calling names, you didn't. You were warned, you called names again. Even after literally everyone else including Harry stopped, you kept it up so you got plinked... period. |

Oh well, my loss I guess:) He doesn't respect anything I say anyway, and he is only here for the fights.. I am not interested in that kind of "sanity"... thanks. OK, that's BS. He rarely gets involved in stupid fights and quite honestly there is very little you post here that makes any sense or is worthy of respect. |

I never claimed I was an angel, or even close, but I've cut way way back on my snotty posts here, and I see no reason to read anyone else's, which is why your buddy is down there in bozoland. Skipper was a trip in many ways, but, as I stated any number of times, despite our disagreements, he did have the ability to relate anecdotes in a readable way and when he wanted to, he could write at a decent intellectual level. Your boy FlaJim writes like a 7th grader describing his farts. ------------------------------- Everyone is different. But as you know, I've known Jim personally for many years, both before and after he moved from my area. He helped me out a lot with boat problems (he really *does* know his stuff) and we've enjoyed some good times. I consider him a friend. I am very loyal to my friends. Jim has his political views (and those on other subjects) that are not consistent with yours and frankly are sometimes not consistent with mine. Does this mean we can't be friends? Aw shucks. What does right wing, left wing have to do with anything anyway? Your problem is that the only thing you care about is your political persuasion, and that, my dear man, is your Achilles heel. |
