I'm assuming your silence indicates you've no problem with me posting your comment. True?
"At least half the guys I see at the Maryland Small Arms Range are cops, and most of them have trouble hitting the "vital areas" on targets seven yards away. At 25 yards, which is my shooting distance, many of them can't hit the large paper targets, let alone the body outline on the target." Harry Krause, Huntingtown, MD Is it OK to quote you on their Facebook page? I'd use your real name, not **** Off or Eat ****... https://www.facebook.com/MarylandSmallArmsRange Salmonbait -- Hope you're having a spectacular day! |

Better yet; post Harrys comment together with his picture on the bulletin board at the gun range. It should be inspirational and motivating to those cops who can't hit the broad side of a Maryland red barn. ;-) |

Some of his retorts are humorous. You have indicated that you are still here for a somewhat similar reason .... to see rec.boats finally dissolve into a pile of dust and blow away. You stir up as much or more of the dust that he does. If you remember back many years ago, Jim often made very informative and useful posts in response to problems people had with boats or boat engines. He had particular expertise in outdrives and was always spot on with helpful suggestions in troubleshooting or identifying a solution to a problem. But, the number of real boating related posts has diminished to maybe one or two a week now-a-days, so there's really nothing to contribute anymore. I know Jim. I also know his newsgroup persona is not the real Jim. That's all I'll say about that. |

I have my warts and faults but I basically try to extend the same courtesies to others as they extend to me, even if we have a disagreement on a subject. I don't subscribe to your style of trying to spread rumors, of making inappropriate comments about people's wives, kids or personal life or trying to participate in a group contest against anyone. It's just not necessary unless your goal is to "win" at all costs. Win what? Status in a stupid newsgroup? Give me a break. So, why am I here?
