We have a few family obligations that make right now not the best time. My master (can you still use that word?) plan involves a move somewhere south near the ICW/ocean along with a boat. We still own a slip up here that will accommodate a 36' boat, so I might start seriously shopping just prior to the move. No concrete plans yet. |

My winter project is finally coming to the last couple of weeks before completion and having the "grand opening". Last week I ran all new electrical power and outlets for the stage and lights. The stage is big .... 24 ft by 12 ft and I ran three individual 20 amp services to it, so there's plenty of power. Yesterday and today I primed and painted the wall behind the stage flat black. Big wall ... almost 40 feet wide by 14 feet high. Looks good now and provides a great backdrop for bands playing on the stage, with colored stage lights as a wall wash. Only things left to do is some more painting, hanging of acoustic drapes and decorative stuff like pictures and displays. Need to hook up the PA system, run a 100 ft audio snake to the mixing board and it should be ready to go. Well, almost. I have to find tables and chairs again. We had a pile of them but I sold some and gave away the rest when we closed the old shop, never thinking I'd be involved with this again. Looking forward to having people use the new performance venue. We had a lot of fun at the other one and witnessed some amazing talent. |

"F.O.A.D." wrote in message om... Facebook is a great medium for discussions of all kinds, and you can include photos, cartoons, posters, whatever, with your post. Usenet discussions are pretty much kaput. ----------------------------------------- I used Facebook mainly as a social connection for activities related to the guitar shop and performance venue. It is a page that I created tied to my personal Facebook page that I don't post to often. I still maintain the Re-Tunes! page because it was started under my account but my friend who now owns and runs the guitar shop is the primary administrator. Be sure and let us know when these guys show up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8ehTscyRww -- Hope you're having a great day! |

You know you can't take it back and you have no idea of the family dynamic here, we are doing just fine. It's pretty obvious like harry and a couple others here there is something seriously missing in your life, why not go talk to your wife or something? |

That's odd, you stated a month or so ago that you had to give up your car, your cell phone, "eat a lot of spaghetti", etc. because you have no money. A real JOB would help that, you know? It's easier for him to blame his problems on others.... especially when he's aided and abetted by a handful of clowns in here. |
