acts in the last few generations have been righties driven by their
religious beliefs, or righties driven by their political beliefs.

Adolf Hitler was not a socialist, or a leftie, and the National
Socialist Party simply co-opted the word "Socialism" so as to give their
political movement a popular appeal. It had nothing to do with the
socialism associated with Marxism.
