Young people should not be pressured into assuming that a college degree is the only path to employment today. It’s not,” Palin said. In Wasilla Alaska it might not be that important to have a degree. I imagine Willow thinks about what her mom says every time she has that English Lit major asking her if she wants to super size her Whopper combo down at the Wasilla Burger King. I do understand why the people out in flyover land think democrats are elitist snobs and why they are not that successful there. I also find it interesting that Harry, the supposed "friend of the working man", is maligning hair dressers. Do you talk the same way when your barber has that razor on your neck? Please point out where I am maligning hair dressers. The Palin kid apparently completed a course of education her first time out. It took her mother five or six colleges before she found one that would grant her a degree. Sarah Palin is a glib demagogue, but it doesn't appear that anyone in that family is even moderately bright. Your post sounded pretty snarky to me. What was your point? Krause doesn't know how to not sound snarky. He really doesn't.. I reached out to him years ago because somebody had posted his phone number and I wanted to let him know it wasn't me.. Yes, (just for the record that's why we talked that day) he was a snarky asshole then too and spent half the time bragging about "that sound" (racking and dry firing something) and asking me "do you know what that sound is".. as if I was some kind of rambo wanna be like him.. LOL! |

And I am sure his barber is a "well educated, tall Asian" gentleman with perfect diction... Probably the guy that taught his grandson Mandarin when he was only four months old...:) My "barber" is whichever woman is up next at the local $16 haircut joint. |

I suppose you could live in Omaha but only one guy has actually been able to pull it off. ==== With high speed internet and decent air service you can work from just about anywhere unless you want to have lunch on Hanover Square every day. * There's a whole enclave of hedge fund managers working out of southern Connecticut, mostly Greenwich and Stamford - not much of a hardship there. My son was employed by an architectural firm in Tennessee, and did extensive work on some U.S. municipality pumping station projects while living in the Philippines. did it all through the internet. |

She seems to do more to rev up you guys. I don't know anyone who cares what she does and the only time I ever hear anything about her is from you. To the best of my knowledge her main claim to fame these days is as a Fox commentator I have CNN on pretty much all day as background noise and they never mention anything about Palin although they did have a little blurb about the Bachmann campaign finance thing. Oh, I enjoy her revving up the morons. It helps ensure Republican defeats for the White House. I think, when Greg said 'you guys', he was referring to you guys that get all revved up. Now you're calling y'all morons? You need to get a handle on your name-calling. 'Spec Circs?' Salmonbait -- 'Name-calling' - the liberals' last stand. `You seem to suffer from Snotty's lack of ability to read critically or think abstractly. You are the last person here who should be talking about critical thinking... This from the only one here who is in a contest with Herring to see which is the most narrow minded! |
