Just because he wasn't prosecuted due to a technicality doesn't mean he didn't do the crime.

That's the hard core right for you, screw the rule of law if it gets in
your way.

If he didn't commit the crime he couldn't get off on a technicality. Being found guilty in a
court of law just allows us to physically punish the criminal.
