My only complaint so far is, besides using a bit more gas ...
it's not as agile as the RAV4 on twisty narrow roads. I did know this
before buying and decided to compromise for the highway comfort and
towing capability.

Had to go out right away and buy a soft sided dog crate for tha Springer
Spaniel.
He has a habit of bringing in lots of the crusher dust/very fine gravel
that the city likes to use on the pathways of our favourite off-leash park.

The nice thing about this Hartz 'DogIt' crate is that I can fit the 36"
x 24" size sideways in the back luggage area and it has doors on both an
end and on the side. So far so good...the dog was quiter and more
relaxed than usual.

Some people down here put the dog crate on the roof.

Or the trunk lid of a motorcycle.
