.380 has better availability than 9mm at the moment, but overall is
more costly. It's a good round, but not as popular as the 9

Even the .380 is hard to find around here. In the last three weeks I've seen only one box of 50,
which I scarfed up for my s-i-l.

Herring found a new hobby...haunting ammo shops for his relatives.

Boat came with a full stand up canvas protection. I upgraded to the Mercury 60 Big Foot outboard,Deluxe Contour swivel seats and galvanized trailer, bought a travel cover, engine cover, transom saver etc.

It sucks to be you - weather, that is!

Nice boat! Hope you thaw out soon :-)

And since today is a nice, bright, sunny day, I may have to take the Guzzi down to the gun show in
Fredericksburg and see how many non-dealer, unlicensed dealer dealers I can spot out behind the
woodshed.

Actually, my wife wants a smaller pistol. Might try to find a more compact 9mm.

Be sure and jump through the "loophole!"

PS
Seriously consider a .380 for the little woman. My DIL just got one
and loves it. She isn't that girly, but KAHR and Taurus both make a
pink model.

Get a Sig P238

Too small.

A desert Eagle ought to be just about right. ;-)

I'm thinking the S&W M&P 9c looks about right. I'm also thinking that the S&W 39-2 is small enough
for her. It holds eight rounds less than the M&P 9. Actually, I think once she shoots it, she'll be
happiest with this: http://images.gunsinternational.com/...322538-1-L.jpg

Kahr makes a 9mm smaller than the ppk and many other 380's

And is certainly made for the (much) smaller hand. It hurts like hell
to shoot, if it fits in your hand like a derringer.

You should try one out. It might surprise you.

I have and they catch me right in the meat of the thumb. Hurts like
hell. Ditto the Glock subcompacts; 26, 27, 29, 30, etc. .

You ought to try a little.25 auto. They're definitely meat slicers

Especially my wife's Bauer

That's a cute little bugger! My North Carolina brother bought a .25 for his wife. I can't remember
the make, but it's not a common name.

Ammunition for it can be found on the web.

Have you looked at that Sig 9 that Tims relative carrys. I have picked
one up, they are nice. Feel and look tight too..

SIG makes many models in 9 mm. I had one. Nice pistol.

Just what we need, an insane fool like Scotty running around with a

I wonder if they have support groups that could help.

I wonder how much they'd charge for a box of 9mm?

Oh, and tell your buddy, ESAD, that his sig line is full of redundancy!!

This from the guy who racks and fires his pistol in the house while on

welcome accident waiting to happen, not John.

Indeed, i do spend a couple of hours a week handling, practicing and
cleaning empty firearms. You happened to call when I was doing this.
I'm not obsessive like Herring, though. I don't, for example, drive
early in the morning to places that sell ammo to see if i can buy some.
