against Vietnam. I've asked him several times how many Vietnamese people
he killed with explosives or even his rifle, but as far as I recall, he
has never responded with the facts.

reason to think those who were not in the military during the Vietnam
era draft "evaded" the draft. Evaded implies something nefarious.

The majority of men of "draft age" during that moronic war were not
"drafted" and did not enlist and in no way "evaded" the draft.

Further, though we know your military service there was the "high point"
of your adult life, the reality is that all we did in Vietnam, aside
from causing the death of a million people, was prop up a despised
military dictatorship in South Vietnam, a government so corrupt that
Buddhist monks set themselves on fire to protest it.

The last time I saw Herring, probably in 2003 or 2004, he was extremely
brittle looking.

Is that an example of how the military trains recruits to use firearms?
She's out there firing live ammo and hasn't a clue as to how to hold and
cycle a pump shotgun? No introductory training indoors without live
rounds on the theory and operation of the firearm?
