Giving out your name on usenet is certainly enough to get you into a LOT
of trouble. And it's stupid. Any expert or just someone with common
sense would know that.

Exactly what kind of trouble are you expecting? I would worry a lot
more about the letters I sent to the newspaper than ****ing off
someone half way across the country.
The reality is I am in more danger driving to the grocery store than
"stranger danger" from disgruntled readers of my opinions.
Having my day to day Email address here does not even generate that
much spam.

Do you REALLY think that it's wise to give everyone who has access to

In short, I think only a complete fool would give his/her name on the
internet unless he/she had to.
