Some asked for this after I first posted it, but I didn't feel like going thru all the posts to find
it. Well, here it is again. The Washington Post had the link in one of its articles today:

Not to worry, you'll still be able to have a gun accident with your
safetyless, decockerless, striker pistol.

They forgot to include all handguns...whether revolver, semi-auto or whatever.

Harry's probably has the problem of putting his finger on the trigger
of his pistol to help him pull it ouf of the holster. Harry may be tired
of patching holes in his floor, foot, vanity, sink and mirror.

This is meaningless feel good legislation to prove they are "doing
something".
The manufactures have "post ban" designs ready to go as soon as they
see which of these rules survive the vote.
The Bushmaster that everyone is vilifying is a 94 ban compliant gun
designed to that rule.

Yeah, we should do nothing and let the NRA decide.....

Frankly, I don't give a **** about Bushmaster rifles or what the NRA
wants. As far as I can tell from the last few months of public
discussion, the NRA is an outfit of whores whose only real interest is
in boosting and protecting the sales of its corporate "partners."
