General Powell is a man of great intellect and accomplishment. If he had wanted the job, he probably could have been elected President of the United States. You don't have to agree with all or even most of his positions on issues to admire Powell's service to his country in a variety of important military and civilian jobs. And Scotty? He remains the inconsequential greaseball of rec.boats. You talking about the same General Powell who did a stint slaughtering innocent Vietnamese? The guy who presented false evidence to the UN to justify starting the war with Iraq? And who was the POTUS that wanted him to do that? |
