Maybe he was on his way to an elementary school.

Maybe in Afghanistan.

To shoot up an elementary school in Afghanistan? Is that on a higher
plane morally than shooting up an elementary school in Connecticut?

Probably to defend it from being shot up by the taliban. I have a 2nd
cousin who was (now ret.) a Captain (11th Amdiv.) that did exactly
that very thing. They got a tip of a raid and defended a school from
being blown and butchered.

Afghanistan isn't a very nice place to be, even if it is your home.

GMTA!

I should have read yours before writing mine. Thank God for some sense.

Do you think more or less Afghanis would be shooting at each other if we
weren't there?

It's your boy who's keeping us there. Talk to him, ESAD.

He is keeping true to his own promise. Is that bad?

I've already sent two long letters to the White House to complain about
the continuance of the war Bush lied us into, Herring. Each time, I
received a nicely wordprocessed response. The only saving grace is that
we will be out of Afghanistan on a date certain or earlier. If Romney
had won, we'd be there forever and he would have gotten us into
protracted shooting wars elsewhere, in order to keep the money flowing
to the military/defense complex and to placate the right-wing warmongers
that dominate his party.

It's too bad we can't round up promilitary old farts like you and put
you boys on point over there.

What you fools fail to understand is that there is a timeline in place
that has BEEN on place for a long time.

They perform much better if you send in a copy of your Form 1040 along with any special requests you
have. And, obviously Bush didn't lie to us, as 'Bama has kept us there for a reason. No? How did the
White House phrase, "Go **** yourself, ESAD?"

To protect an elementary school, dummy! Your buddies, the Taliban, like to kill girls going to
school, and their teachers. You need to get your head out of your ass, ESAD, FOAD, WAFL, or whatever
you've decided to call yourself today.

Sure hope you had a great Christmas day, yesterday. Nothing could be much more fun than being with
the grandkids as they open their gifts. Of course, you probably did the same thing, so you know what
I mean.

Which of your few almost working synapses told you the taliban were my
buddies? They're religious extremists, for whom I have no use.

So, in your family, Christmas is a celebration of commercialism.
How...tasteless.

Christmas, as I've said, is, for all of us, a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The exchanging of gifts is part of the way we celebrate. Why would you consider such a thing
tasteless? What, in your opinion, is the proper way to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ?

How do you do it, ESAD? What is your 'tasteful' way?

I don't celebrate christmas but I do understand its significance to
believers. If I were a believer, I'd celebrate by praying and
contemplating the teachings of jesus for a couple of hours and then by
going out into the community at large and doing good deeds, such as
working in a soup kitchen, delivering clothing and good cheer to the
homeless, dropping off new toys at a woman's shelter, et cetera. You
know, a sort of modernized version of what jesus said his followers
should be doing.

But of course you and most here who claim to be christians are
christians in name only, and celebrate the birthday of your professed
savior by shopping.

Saint Esad.

You should have 'Bama canonize you.

But, if you've been sending him letters, he's probably already told you to ESAD and/or FOAD.

I wonder if your boy celebrated Christmas the way *you* would?

It was just about the only weapon of choice by the British and it's
tributaries from about 1895 to 1957 and in some British military
applications to 1960, and it still the issued cartridge for the
Vickers machine gun to this day. . Even with the Royal Canadian
Rangers (Arctic Div.) still use it as standard issue if i remember
correctly.

It's probably the only standard military cartridge and bolt-action
rifles to have been used by a nation for a hundred years, and the
rifles had very few variants to it's design.

Besides, it was the great defender against the tyranny of the
Imperial and Nazi German invaders in two world wars.

If it works, don't fix it.

You morons DO realize, don't you, that the NRA exists as a money making
system, don't you? Yep, they take your money and profit from it. Like
they really care about YOUR rights....

Sounds like a union.

Do you equate Marines with NRA members - or did a stray thought just
hit your mind.

It strikes me that if the NRA was doing such a bad job for "us", harry
and his hypocritical gun owner libs wouldn't be screaming so loud

The "NRA" isn't doing anything for *us*, dumb****. And neither are the
Marines in Afghanistan. The difference is that the Marines and other
U.S. troops are dying for nothing in Afghanistan and the NRA just shoots
off its mouth.

The NRA does more than that, they are a high profit organization. They
take the money that people are stupid enough to donate to them, and what
they don't put in their own pockets, they bribe conservative law makers
with.

Sounds like the NEA!

Do you suppose ESAD aka Harry Krause allows his protestant Christian
southern belle to celebrate Christmas without all of his boorish,
childlike anti religious comments? I can just see him hunched up in a

That strikes me as a rather unbalanced view of "true happiness"... to

Maybe he was on his way to an elementary school.

Maybe in Afghanistan.

To shoot up an elementary school in Afghanistan? Is that on a higher
plane morally than shooting up an elementary school in Connecticut?

Obviously you misread the first sentence in my response. I don't
celebrate christmas. I'm not a christian...and neither are you. You're a
CINO.

ESAD, read my last again...I said 'would'.

My son isn't a christian.
