Default Well just got a Bayliner 2855 460 Cobra set up...thoughts?

I know shifter cable adjustment was the biggest problem with these drives eating gears....

any other tidbits of advice....

I downsized from inboards (paragons) on twin 350's..and i hope i'm not headed for trouble...

Thanks guys and gals...

And BTW i am not planning on beating the crap outta the driveline..just normal use..

open lake cruising speeds and lots of river running..

I don't have much knowledge of them. But I know some people on a local
lake in my area that are still running the old OMC 'stringer' drives
and have since the 70's. The Cobra was an improvement, then the
Super Cobra, then the venture with Volvo/Penta.

Parts are still around for them. You might have already seen this
site, but I'll post it anyhow.....

It aint so. I've been badgering for quite awhile to get rid of the

will be finding out how smooth it is Sat morning at 8...

loading it on the trailer and bringing it back into town....

got the permits to tow. so now i just gotta keep it on the trailer between there and home

i got a good King Cobra spare if we puke this one...
