Several reasons, but one is this: you can't predict what the future will deal you, so it is important to have some fun while you can. Some 30 years ago, my doctor, a great doctor in his mid 40's, was shot by a burglar he caught at his house. The doc died a short time later. He didn't have any retirement. Another friend of mine, also a physician, died in his early 40's two weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I am not saying you shouldn't save for your retirement. You should. But you should also go through life having fun, not just pinching pennies. -- What do the Republican Party of the United States and the Muslim Brotherhood of the Arab World have in common? They're both faith-based parties, they both deny science, and they both wage war on women. |

She just pays for it now. While also saving for the future. Why spend $500+ a month for a car lease when you can buy a cheaper car for less per month and in 3 years you have equity in the car? She has been to Europe a couple times, Bora Bora and NZ, as well as the Cooke Islands. Seems as if she has a good life. Plus two nice girls and a husband. Plus she owns most of the property she resides in. A lot more than the bank. |

Pricey, but they go on sale every once in a while. I am somewhat constrained on size and I have not had much luck finding a dock box that will work for me. It turns out there are only a few companies making these and they get relabeled by retailers. Don't know if this would work. Wifee has two at the barn, the girls love them. http://www.homedepot.com/buy/stanley-37-in-mobile-job-box-037025h.html#.UED4NpZdx_Q Just under 60 bucks, lock, extremely good material (you can stand on it, or I can anyway), wheels are not necessary in our use, but for you... could do the trick. Ooops, forgot, it has a pretty good collapsible handle opposite the wheels. All together, a pretty solid tool, if it's the tool you need in my opinion. |
