Uh, she graduated early.. Unlike your phony grandkid you made up
that
spoke what, 4 languages one month, and was learning a "second"
language
a few months later... LOL.

So why isn't she at college, learning a skill that might
provide her
with an income?

So, tell us again about your Yale degree?

I have two college degrees. I majored in English for my B.A., and
minored in a social science. I earned a 3.9 g.p.a. All of the
courses I
took for my graduate degree were for an M.A. in English, generally,
although I specialized in etymology. I had the equivalent of a 4.0
g.p.a. I also taught English as an instructor.

Etymology is not, by the way, the study of insects, but, rather, a
study
of the distinctions of origins, habits, dialects and history of
words
and language.

I worked very hard in college to avoid the draft.

So, why isn't your high school graduate daughter in college,
learning a
usable skill?

I see.

People like harry are the main reason my daughter is not interested
in a
liberal arts vacation...

Because she's against earning a living by not getting her hands covered
in grease?

We know you hate blue collar workers, well of course unless you are
raiding their pension plans like the poor folks at Uuilco...

Blue collar opportunities are scarce these days. The Communist
Chinese manufacture most of the goods Merica buys because we're
unwilling to spend a few more bucks on a US made product.

Most Mericans would eat melamine tainted food if it meant saving a few
bucks.

Good luck with her search for a blue collar job, more likely end up a
house maid or a self-employed "website designer."

Interestingly, the landscape contractor who does our "heavy" outdoor
lifting and landscaping is doing pretty well these days. He and two
helpers were here last night, digging up and transplanting a 12' tall
tree that wasn't doing too well in a part of our garden, and a few other
chores. I've known him for years. He's here legally from Mexico, along
with some of his relatives, a number of whom work with him in the family
landscaping business. He's paying minimum wage x2 for unskilled
laborers, plus he's got some sort of health care plan for his employees.

Anyway, he was here for two hours, did with aplomb what we wanted done,
and charged me $150, which I thought was very fair.

You didn't need to share that with us.

I had a tree cut down and carted away a couple of weeks ago. Cost me
$1,100. The guy that did the work is a licensed arborist and has been
working on my trees for 13 years. He has a great crew and all of the
needed equipment. When he is done you can't even tell they were there.

Since it's June, I'll provide your monthly response. By my count, which probably isn't too accurate,
you've responded to about 47 of my posts to others without a response from me. Keep this one, as you
won't get another for a while. You can keep responding to each and every one of my posts if you feel
the action doesn't make you look totally asinine.

As to your post above, I think you should buy an external hard drive ( http://tinyurl.com/cwjyeam ),
put *all* your accomplishments in a Word document thereon, and then store it in a safe deposit box
for your loving grandkids.

Oh, and be sure to add your famous line...."Self-praise sucks!"

Surely, there is one right-wing dirtbag here who can comprehend what he

It was more bull****. $150 for a crew that is paid double the minimum
wage with group health care? They spent that traveling.

Sorry, Earl, but the guy came by here from another job on his way
home. No additional travel expense.

Sure.
