Here's the 'Junkyard Dog' as the vet says. "Thank God for duct tape," is all I can say. Those damn
collars cost $27 each!

And, last year I was a good boy, so my wife got me a nice present for my birthday...

I've been very pleased with the Silverado. On the highway, with no load, it gets close to 22 mpg.
With the trailer, loaded for camping, it gets right around 13 mpg. That's 30% better than I was
getting with the 4Runner towing the little 18' travel trailer we had.

This is what it's pulling now:

I'm sure you have. and the neat thing is that Duramax doesn't even
know it's behind it!

Very nice !

My creative mind is trying to envision some way of strapping on some
flotation tanks, a couple of big outboards on the back and maybe a
flybridge helm station up top. :-)

Maybe sealing the bottom a little more would solve the problem of flotation. I think I could have
bought a decent 34'er instead of this, but you don't see 'em at Bluegrass Festivals very often!

I had the chance to drive my brother in law's Silverado 2500 HD with
the diesel and Allison Duramax transmission on a very rough road to
his isolated lakeside lot. He claims it drives very smoothly on the
highway.
