Default An interesting comparison...

Cuba is a country that has been ruled by a repressive Communist
dictatorship for decades. Its state security forces arrest and imprison
thousands of Cubans for real, imaginary, and made-up crimes, the latter
two categories being more than a little "political."

According to the International Center for Prison Studies, Cuba's
incarceration rate in 2006-2009 was 531 for each 100,000 residents.

In the United States, a bastion of democracy, the incarceration rate for
the same time period was 751 for each 100,000 residents.

Only a real dip**** wouldn't see that firing squads greatly reduce incarceration rates.

I wonder which entity has executed more prisoners in the past 25
years...Cuba or Texas-Virginia-Florida.

The United States, even without the comparison to Cuba, is way way up
there on the list of incarcerated per thousand, and in comparison to
most Western nations that long ago outlawed capital punishment. In fact,
we lead the entire world.

Isn't it great we still lead the world in such important areas?

On the other end of the spectrum you have African and Middle Eastern
nations for the most part. Lets find out what they do in lieu of
incarceration.
Sometimes Krause, you come across as S-T-U-P-I-D and I-G-N-O-R-A-N-T

incarceration rate in 2006-2009 was 531 for each 100,000 residents.

In the United States, a bastion of democracy, the incarceration rate for
the same time period was 751 for each 100,000 residents.

Only a real dip**** wouldn't see that firing squads greatly reduce incarceration rates.

Are you calling Harry a dip****? Attaboy John. He is finally getting the
credit he deserves.

No.

I don't believe in name-calling. I think it's quite immature.

Make that three. Although I'm not sure I'm totally with Republicans. To
be safe, call me an independent.
