Just in case you are wondering why the Titanic anniversary seems a big
deal up here... http://thechronicleherald.ca/titanic/halifax-map #8 was my wife's church growing up #9 church where all my sisters & brother were baptized and married. Snow's funeral home.... our family choice for generations... although that original site is now a restaurant. We sailed with the grandson of John Snow... named John Snow also, like his dad and grandad. he navigated for us the first time we ventured down the coast and past the shoals south of the harbour entrance. This tricky area was the site of the previous worst maritime disaster on the North Atlantic. |

I'm not really a Titanic fan (just worn out from all the years of hooplah) but I find the article interesting from your stand point of the places dear to your family through history. Thanks! |
