Big disappointment.

That wasn't me. My show and the upcoming one are on the History Channel.

Roger .. you might find this interesting ..

My dad had a friend who's uncle died on the Titanic. Mr O'Shaughnessy was
my dad's friend. Mr O'Shaughnessy told me about it a number of years ago.
Boy, did he hate the English!

April 12th, right?

Fenway Park in Boston opened the same day the ship went down. 1912. No
wonder the Red Sox are cursed.

They wouldn't have done them much good that night.

BTW keep an eye out for the next History Channel show planned to air
on
night of the accident April 14/15.

Actually, the date has been changed. I'll let you all know as soon as I
learn the new one.

I misstated. The program last Saturday was on the HIstory Channel,

the Discovery Channel. Here's the blurb: "Titanic's Final Moments:
Missing Pieces. Further analysis." Missing pieces indeed. It was two
hours long.

That was my show. It just goes to show you can't please all of the people
all of the time. The negative comments on this highest rated History
Channel show in their history have been quite rare. You must not have
watched it very closely if you think it was about the ship grounding on the
iceberg. We went out to investigate some reported pieces that might have
pointed to that possibility but the theory evaporated pretty quickly when
they turned out to be a ventilator trunk. We then documented some really
interesting stuff that hadn't been looked at closely before. That led to a
new theory mentioned at the end. Investigating that theory and its
implications is the subject of the show to air this spring.

They would surely have been made of cotton canvas and long gone.
