It was greeat Don, and had an excellent service last evening. Here's
a good quote concerning the actions from Palm Sunday to Easter, that
sum's up the whole week.

"The most significant week in human history begins--and few will
notice. The King enters His city; He teaches, He battles, He communes;
He submits to man, to God, to sin's load; He rises, He reigns; He
waits. Let the whole world know..."

Thanks Tim. We had a great time at Solomon's Island, although the wind got pretty strong a few
times. One night the kids got so scared in the tent that they and momma came into the trailer. Nice
and cozy.

Glad you had the room to accommodate everyone, John.

Turned on the fireplace, put Jonathon Livingston Seagull in the DVD player, made microwave popcorn,
and had a merry ol' time.

A happy Easter to you! May the goddess, Eostre, for which the
celebration is named, watch over you and yours.

Oh, I appreciate that, but but to me Eostre isn't the Creator and
doesn't offer me redemption by the risen Son Jesus.

" Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in
heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other." (Deuteronomy
4:39)

But thanks, anyhow.

The passage you are quoting seems more related to Passover and Moses
leading his people out of Egypt.

37 And because He loved thy fathers, and chose their seed after them,
and brought thee out with His presence, with His great power, out of Egypt,
38 to drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou,
to bring thee in, to give thee their land for an inheritance, as it is
this day;
39 know this day, and lay it to thy heart, that the LORD, He is God in
heaven above and upon the earth beneath; there is none else.

Religion is so...confusing. :)

That's true. . I won't and can't deny His uniqueness, and I think the
verses you posted still support my point.
