Default Cleaning and polishing aluminum

What's a quick easy inexpensive way to clean off my gunnels and some other
exposed aluminum on my Lund boat? Get a buffing wheel for my drill or
grinder? Some grinding compound? Some chemical?

Steve

BoeShield works pretty good(Boeing stuff)

There's also...

NEVR-DULL is some good stuff. Don't know about aluminum, but it polishes most anything else.

Just like chrome - it's great but can't perform miracles!

Well, if you buy a can of Nevrdull and it doesn't work all that well on aluminum, it'll work on most
other things, so you've not wasted your money. I've even used it on small scratches in the paint on
my motorcycle, followed up with 'Finesse it' by 3M if necessary.

Give it a shot! It's cheap and works on a lot of other shiny things
around the house, too. Takes a bit of elbow grease on tough spots. Got
a teenage kid, or neighbor kid, willing to work for a few bucks an hour?
