This is my little patch, usually in the part that says 1-2 feet or
less ;-)

It tends to keep the crowds out

checked your website. looks like a pretty cool place to vote..

BC, between Sechelt and Cortes island mostly, with occasional trips further south and north. I have cruised most of the South Pacific Islands, but love it here most.

Either Chesapeake Bay, the Potomac River, or Lake Anna, VA. I'm not in the bay near as much as I
used to be, because golf, which I took up when I turned 60, has really cut into my fishing time. The
grandkids like either the Potomac or Lake Anna.

If you like looking at lots of estuary wildlife in one of the few
unspoiled estuaries in the country, Estero bay is a pretty cool place.
That is why I moved here

Don't know if you've ever heard of Useppa Island, which is down south of you. That island played a
role in the series of books I'm about to finish. The series is historical fiction, but the role
played by the island, a home for union sympathizers during the Civil War, was factual.

The series is the 'Honor' series by Robert N. Macomber. A fun read.

Useppa is actually north of here. It was a staging area for the ill
fated Cuban Bay of Pigs invasion among other things. It is now a
very posh residents club and resort. Directly west of Useppa,
several hundred yards across the Gulf Coast ICW is Cabbage Key.
Cabbage Key has some guest cottages and a small restaurant/pub which
is a very popular boating destination hereabouts.

Well, I thought I was responding to Greg, and that Useppa Is. was south of him. But, I'm getting
older'n hell.

I think the Union sympathizers who staged from Useppa were much more successful than the Bay of Pigs
guys.

Useppa is actually north of me but I am familiar with it. Cabbage Key
is up there too, great place for lunch and a walk around. There are a
few other "boat only" islands in that area and one that also has a
little airport for the filthy rich. (upper Captiva)

That is up near Boca Grande pass where you see a lot of those tarpon
fishing shows. They fish the drift in rows of boats that do a dance,
alternating from the front to the back of the pack as they drift out
of the pass. As long as everyone follows the rules it is pretty
orderly. I have been in that zoo a couple if times on my Pine Island
friend's boat.

Now I understand. When you mentioned Estero Bay, I thought that's where you were located. This old
age is a bitch!

Hell, I thought he said "Estrogen Bay."
