So how do you get the control and recognition you deserve? Well, here
come the defense mechanisms. The fantasy and denial defenses have a
strong partnership--they're creating the foundation for your other main
defenses: projection, rationalization, regression. You're not a loser,
you're a badass. No one understands how much you can help the world;
you're just biding your time until everyone realizes how much they
should appreciate you.

And now you've found an outlet--the Internet. You're not lashing out at
anyone, you're not a racist, and you're not a gay-basher--you're just
making people notice you. People are paying attention. You're not like
all of those faceless idiots earning worthless internet points from
worthless internet users. No, you're in the minority, and that's exactly
where you want to be. It makes you stand out. You made the decision that
the Internet, the entire World Wide Web, would notice you on your own
terms. You expected that negative reaction--and you were right. You knew
people would attack you--and you were right. You asked for downvotes,
and now you're getting them. You've proven yourself. For now, your
