Default Cuda 128 depth finder question

Will these locate and identify thermoclines? I have read the manual, but
can't find anything about it.

I have never heard of a product in the recreational boating market
that claimed they could do that with any degree of precision but who
knows.

Interesting discussion he

I don't know about the Cuda, they are lower end units, but my Garmin
color will show thermoclines very nicely. It has to do with the sound
speed gradient.

I have since read the downloaded manual, and one line refers to the fact
that the depth finder automatically filters out things, like thermoclines.
Once I get this unit, I will establish where the thermocline is, and then
mess with the depthfinder and see if I can adjust the sensitivity to where
something shows up on the screen corresponding to the thermocline on the
Cline Finder.
